Marc Itzlar #36 | The Joyful Reclamation, Laughter, Tears & Silence
Laugh In The Face Of Your Own Absurdity. When The Words Are Gone Whats Left? The More Pain That We release, The More Joy That Replaces It. Confronting Resistance Is The Process. Joy Is Our Power.
Tears are our healing balm, pouring away to reveal our natural state, which is joy. Let the pain wash away in the river of our tears. I'm not going to be serious. When I am serious, I am part of the problem.
I hope you can receive the depth of wisdom in this wonderFULL podcast with my friend Marc Itzlar. Enjoy the story of how we met and how Marcs invitation into my laughter, tears and silence was to become a great gift I was unaware of. Join us on this joyful reclamation.
Marc began working with laughter in 2011 as part of a twenty-one-day meditative therapy process known as The Mystic Rose. It was devised by the Indian mystic Osho who asked Marc’s Mother Leela, shortly before leaving his body in 1989, to create and develop the process and facilitator training. She has run it around the world for thirty—four years and Marc has co-facilitated the groups with Leela since training in 2011. He is now one of six senior trainers around the world qualified to run the group and also train new facilitators.
The Mystic Rose comprises three stages of seven days each. The first seven days is laughter for no reason for three hours each day. The second stage is inviting tears and crying for three hours, and the final week is silent sitting also for three hours. A pure energy process that bypasses any cognitive logic and allows access to deeply buried trauma and hurt in a very safe and permissive environment.
Laughter brings us face to face with our innocence and our pure joy. It also gives us the trust and courage to move into the pain that lives inside us. Together, we will get a taste of the effect of a prolonged invitation to connect with our laughter.
Living In The Gift
All of my podcasts are given in the spirit of the Gift Economy. This means you get to receive the value this offers you and then feel into your heart and decide what contribution you can gift from your heart to mine. I trust in the circulation of the unconditional giving chain of reciprocity and live by the motto: The more that I give, the more I have to give.
